We seek an entrepreneurial Regional Sales Manager who thrives on creating value by driving sales/business development and building strong relationships with customers; while successfully transforming an industry and creating a consumer demand-driven marketplace. You will work closely with the Director of Sales in developing the regional sales goals to drive the adoption and grow the Verde Farms’ brand within his/her territory through retailers, further processors, and increasingly through foodservice establishments. As the primary support for the Sales Team. This individual will provide full Customer economic analysis support. Working with Marketing, this will start with being the primary contact for New Product pricing development. This will include updating and supporting the implementation of a standard Pricing Analysis model for new products. Once a product has been approved for commercialization, this role will track the actual performance against the initial forecast. Key to this role will be the identification of risks and opportunities and to lead the development of action plans to improve profitability. This position will also be the primary finance support for Customer Performance Management. This will include updating Customer item level income statements with actual results and publishing period scorecards. In addition, this role will track and analyze variances to expectations and support the development of strategic recommendations. Included in this analysis will be the tracking and analysis of Trade Expense and promotions. The role will also have the responsibility to work with the sales team to update forecasts, develop annual plans and work on various key customer promotion analysis. Cost of Goods Analysis This position will also work with the Vice President of Operations to report actual Cost of Goods versus standard. This will include the analysis of actual performance versus standard and the identification of sources of variances. They will also support the development of projects to improve cost performance. From time to time, they will work on Cost projects to review item profitability, manufacturing performance and will provide key period Operation scorecards. In addition to the above tasks, this position will support the Material Planning and Inventory process and also recommend updates to cost of goods standards. This position will be an important member of the Finance Team. This will include supporting period close, updating business forecast and supporting the development of the annual and long-term financial plans. Performance Management This position will support period performance management reporting, work across functions on business forecasts and play a central role to the development of the annual plans. The Sales Support Specialist is responsible for providing support to Verde Regional Sales Managers during the sales process. They help customers resolve sales-related issues in a timely manner, generally providing real-time support. They are an integral part of the sales team, communicating and recording customer interactions. Summary of Key Responsibilities Use sales communication techniques and tools (written & oral) for customer interactions. Use SalesForce and other pertinent Verde Farms systems necessary to perform the job. Oversee, respond to and track incoming inquiries coming in through our website. Assist in management of existing accounts, handling such items as order entry and service concerns. Maintain carrier relationships as the logistics contact for day to day shipping needs. The main point of contact for logistics questions and issues for customers and processors. Assists in the quality control process by organizing and tracking incoming complaints to ensure they are handled in an effective and timely manner. Coordinate new business and material set up requirements. Work with Sales on all account level requirements. Work as part of a team to create an outstanding customer experience. Assist in packing and shipping samples when needed. Help Verde to improve processes by bringing creative and fresh new ideas. Maintain high personal and moral standards in judgment and decisions. Summary of Experience and Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience required. Entry level; 1-3 years of experience. Excellent verbal, listening and written communication skills. Excellent organizational skills and multi-task management. Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail. Strong willingness to commit to and adhere to program/project deadlines. Seeks opportunities to use imagination and express originality. Self-directed. Sets and works towards the accomplishment of self-imposed goals and deadlines.
