Regional Sales Manager

We seek an entrepreneurial Regional Sales Manager who thrives on creating value by driving sales/business development and building strong relationships with customers; while successfully transforming an industry and creating a consumer demand-driven marketplace. You will work closely with the Director of Sales in developing the regional sales goals to drive the adoption and grow the Verde Farms’ brand within his/her territory through retailers, further processors, and increasingly through foodservice establishments.

As a Regional Sales Manager, you will be part of a highly engaged, extremely high performing, collaborative and fun sales team. National Sales Leader

You must have prior success managing a team of 10-15 people in a fast growth company. You are very hands-on and have led teams selling value added meat products to national retailers and food service companies at the VP or director level. You excel at coaching, motivating, holding salespeople accountable and developing people’s closing ability. You have experience managing sales plans, budgets, metrics, dashboards, pipelines, forecasts and sales process. You develop strong relationships across various groups of stakeholders and have successfully driven teams to close new business. You are competitive, passionate, driven to succeed and have board-room presence.

Experience with organic, grass fed beef, food service, national retailers, consumer packaged goods, analytics, ready to cook, ready to eat, fresh meat, raw single ingredients and category management very helpful.  National travel up to 60%. Prior total compensation of at least 225K required.
